Born in Ancona in 1973, Stefano Baiocco embarked on his training at a very young age, building up experience with some of the greatest masters of European cuisine: he worked in Italy at the Enoteca Pinchiorri, in France with Alain Ducasse and Pierre Gagnaire and at the Spanish restaurant el Bulli with the Adrià brothers.
His curiosity and ambition then led him to refine his technique in the kitchen of the Roca brothers’ restaurant “Celler” as well as at Mugaritz and at Quique Dacosta’s, before being introduced to oriental philosophy at the Ryugin and Kikunoi restaurants in Japan.
After his experience in international restaurants, in 2004 Stefano decided to accept a new challenge and to manage the kitchen of Villa Feltrinelli in Gargnano on Lake Garda.
His talent was immediately acknowledged by the most prestigious guides. He was awarded his first Michelin star in 2007, the second in 2013 and then the listing in the “Les Grandes Tables du Monde” in 2017.
“Stefano is a chef with an innate sense of the fine and beautiful”
Uniqueness is the unmistakable signature of Chef Stefano Baiocco, who interprets ever-new creativity with skilful hands. A cuisine with mild tastes, refined and very sensitive to the vegetable world; an alchemy of proposals made with outstanding technique and extraordinary "love".
